Brett Finkelstein – Founder & CEO
Brett has spent nearly 15 years in a variety of sales, marketing, business development, and leadership positions with some of the leading companies in the healthcare industry. He served 8 years in various sales and marketing leadership positions with PSS World Medical, a large publicly traded distributor of medical supplies and equipment. He has also served as a marketing manager for Cholestech Corporation (acquired by Alere), and in senior sales roles for athenahealth (a leading provider of E.M.R. and billing software and services) and Johnson and Johnson. He was also a founding partner of Bethesda Consulting Group where he provided strategic planning, business development, marketing, training and other consulting services to healthcare distribution and manufacturing companies. Additionally, he has been a featured writer for Repertoire Magazine, the leading trade publication for medical distribution professionals, as well as a featured presenter at the Health Industry Distributors Association’s (HIDA) annual conference. Brett has a BA from The Ohio State University.
Will Weisman – Advisor
Will brings a rich blend of investment and entrepreneurial experience having advised and led a number of technology and consumer products companies over the last 20 years. Most recently Will founded Santa.com where he currently serves as the CEO. Prior to that, Will was President of popular media site Tonic.com. In 2006, Will founded and ran Phix, a health and wellness company based in Seattle, which he sold in early 2010. Prior to that, Will was a principal at Maveron, a venture capital firm started by Howard Schultz of Starbucks and Dan Levitan. He began his investment career at Foundation Capital where he was as an entrepreneur in residence and later a venture associate focused on business services and enterprise software. Before Foundation, Will had founded a venture-backed restaurant chain called World Wrapps. Over a three-year period, he helped invent and brand a new food product called the “wrap” and grew the company into a 30-unit business with over 600 employees. Will began his career at Intuit. He received his MBA from the Stanford Graduate School of Business and a BA from University of California at Santa Barbara.
Rob Bailey – Advisor
Rob has led, built and advised an impressive list of well known and start-up organizations over the last 15 years. Rob is currently the CEO of Datasift, a very exciting technology start-up. Prior to Datasift, Rob served as the VP of Business Development for SimpleGeo (acquired by Urban Airship). Previously, Rob had been the CEO and Co-Founder of Delicious Brands, maker of Lotus Vodka. Prior to that, Rob spent 4 years as a Business Development Lead at Yahoo! in charge of building international distribution partnerships with Telcos, MSOs, and consumer electronics companies for emerging markets. In addition to Groundswell Health, Rob has served as a strategic advisor and investor to a number of exciting and growing companies. Rob received his MBA from MIT’s Sloan School of Management, and a BA in International Business from Brown University.
